Company History

MCH Multimedia is a company of leading educators and scientists. Professor Bryan Sanctuary, a teacher at McGill University (Montreal, Que.), is the primary author as well as president of the company. He began the company in 1994 in response to the demand for quality technology-based study aids from his General Chemistry students, in addition to the fact that students couldn't read his writing on class overheads…! Since that time, MCH has grown to include a wide array of talent and continues its commitment to high quality, reasonably priced multimedia.

August 1999 saw the release of the fourth version of his General Chemistry CD along with three other products: Introductory Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and General Physics. All products use animations, voice comments, movies, graphs, and quizzes to bring the concepts of science to life. With many hours of study material on each CD, the concepts of Chemistry and Physics are extensively covered.

May 2002 introduced Houghton Mifflin Co. and MCH Multimedia's new product, Interactive Physical Chemistry, to accompany Laidler, Meiser and Sanctuary's text book, Physical Chemistry 4/e.

We now offer full online evaluation capability to our website through our Online Science Portal. This allows educators to preview all of the content within our programs online at their own pace. Free trial downloads as well as freeware of useful programs, such as the Interactive Periodic Table of Elements, are also available.

Furthermore, due to the enthusiastic and positive feedback we received from attendees at the NSTA 2000 National Convention in Orlando, we will be working to release custom made Chemistry and Physics titles for the High School and AP level courses.
